Care home
physiotherapyon the Isle of Wight

Physiotherapy for your residents, arranged around your home.

We work directly with care homes across the Isle of Wight. We can see residents regularly as part of their ongoing care, or for a focused spell of rehabilitation after a hospital stay.

What physiotherapy can add to your home’s care

Before you agree an arrangement, you’ll want to know how it fits into the home and what residents could gain from it.

Provision you can plan around

Agree the visiting schedule and fees with us, so you know what you’re committing to. A monthly retainer gives you a predictable cost to budget for.

Residents are seen in the home. There’s no separate clinic trip to organise for their sessions.

Support for everyday independence

The goal might be getting up from a chair more confidently, or walking to the dining room. Physiotherapy helps residents work on the movements they need day to day.

The focus may be maintaining mobility or rebuilding it after a hospital stay.

Ways to arrange
physiotherapy

Sessional visits

Regular, scheduled sessions for residents who need ongoing physiotherapy. We agree the visiting schedule and which residents need support with you.

Monthly retainer

A monthly contract for planned physiotherapy. It gives your home a predictable arrangement to budget for. Scope and cost are agreed with you.

Post-discharge reablement

Short-term rehabilitation for residents returning from hospital. Reablement means working towards everyday activities again, with the aim of regaining function and confidence.

You don’t need to choose an arrangement before getting in touch. Tell us what your home needs and we can discuss what fits.

Working alongside
your care team

Your staff know the residents they care for every day. We work closely with them to support residents’ mobility and recovery, with physiotherapy that fits into their ongoing care.

For some residents, the work focuses on maintaining movement or managing falls risk. For someone recovering after illness, injury or surgery, the aim may be to regain everyday function and feel more confident moving around.

What to discuss
with us

Start with the residents who need support and what’s changed for them. Then talk through how physiotherapy would fit around the home’s routines, and how we would work with your staff.

Each care home arrangement is priced individually. The scope of the work, visiting schedule and fees are agreed for your home.
