1
PROGRESS
We support progress by rebuilding strength, mobility, and confidence after illness, injury, or hospital discharge.
2
PREVENT
We help prevent and reduce the risk of falls, setbacks, and avoidable hospital readmissions.
3
MAINTAIN
We help maintain your independence by protecting the progress you've made, supporting long-term confidence, activity, and quality of life at home.

Soft Tissue Therapy
Our soft tissue treatments target muscle tension, aches, and stiffness that can build up through injury, overuse, or day-to-day stress. Using a range of hands-on techniques, we help reduce pain, improve circulation, and restore mobility—whether you’re recovering from an injury, training hard, or simply need to a rejuvenate.

Tailored Exercise Programmes
Exercise is at the core of physiotherapy, but no two bodies—or goals—are the same. We design structured, evidence-based exercise programmes that are unique to you, focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance. Whether it’s managing a long-term condition, recovering from surgery, or improving fitness, your plan will evolve as you progress.

Injury Prevention
Staying active and independent means staying injury-free. Our injury prevention programmes identify risks, such as muscle imbalances, poor movement patterns, or high-demand activities, and address them before they cause problems. With expert advice and targeted exercises, we help you reduce the chance of setbacks and keep doing what you love.

Fall Prevention
Falls are one of the biggest concerns for older adults, but they don’t have to be inevitable. Through balance training, strength exercises, and practical strategies for home safety, we work with you to build confidence and reduce the risk of falls. Our goal is to help you maintain independence and peace of mind in everyday life.

Home Assessments
We bring physiotherapy directly to your door. During a home assessment, we take the time to understand your environment, lifestyle, and specific challenges. This allows us to create practical, personalised treatment plans that fit into your daily routine, making care more accessible and effective without the need to travel.

Meet Jacob
Founder of Vectis Physio
I am currently completing my MSc in Physiotherapy, where I am gaining hands-on experience across a variety of healthcare settings. My academic journey began with a BSc degree in Sports Science, which gave me a strong grounding in movement, strength and conditioning, and how to support people in reaching their full potential.
While studying my Masters Degree, I have gained experience across a wide range of clinical placements, including community care, respiratory, neurological rehabilitation, acute, and private musculoskeletal (MSK) practices. I have also developed a strong interest in elderly community care, particularly supporting people after hospital discharge, where I see a real need for greater emphasis on prevention and long-term independence.
Through these experiences, I have developed a patient-first approach aimed at recovery, independence, prevention, and lasting improvements in quality of life.
I chose to venture into private practice because I believe patients deserve care that is flexible, proactive, and tailored to their individual needs. Too often services are limited in what they can provide. My goal is to go beyond those restrictions, offering a complete, preventative, educational, and supportive service, that empowers people to live well at every stage of life.
Let's get started
